In 2002, through my venture fund Noble House Ventures, I was able to acquire several electronic gaming platforms which we combined to create an immersive casino experience for an online only audience. The initial business model was to create an online destination where players were enticed to play through gamification. The more they play, the more loyalty points they won. Points then be turned in for sponsor merchandise. Revenues were derived from co-reg and digital ad insertions.
Later that same year, we pivoted the business model to accept cash on account for “chance” gameplay. Within four months we were empowering over 29 gaming sites and had amassed over 100,000 online registered users and growing by 200% per month. In early 2003, the assets of Aces High were acquired by one of the largest gaming networks currently operating offshore.
